Calculate postage prices and delivery times during checkout for Australia Post

Delonge Design can integrate Australia Post's DRC (Delivery Rate Calculator) into your checkout process. The DRC calculates not only the postage rates to the customers post code based on the total weight of their items but also the estimated delivery time for a number of postage options including domestic ParcelPost and ExpressPost as well as international options such as air and sea parcel. (This method can be selected by the user according to their location)

Accommodate real time and offline payment options

Whatever payment systems you accept your online shop can integrate them, allowing customers to pay in real time using their credit card, but also offline options such as payment by Bank Transfer, Cheque or Money Order.

The Process

Be it a small site or a large budget project, Delonge Design follows a process to ensure you site is developed to be the best online strategy for you business.

Planning

Our first step is a free consultation, where we determine the purpose, scale and target audience of your site. This allows us to research into the potentials for your business as well as determine the best overall strategy to bring your business online. We also explain the technologies that the site can potentially harness (all in plain english) as well as what pricing structure these entail. We also discuss domain names (if you don't already have one) from which your site will be accessible.

Design & Development

Firstly a draft site is prepared to show you how the site will look and feel, and how the features you requested work within the site. Once we settle on a design with your approval we collate any resources that will be required for the project, including photos, images and content etc.

Once we have a finished site it is put in on a 'trial' website, which only you have access to. This will allow for the site to be tested, and for any adjustments or changes to be made. During this process we test every aspect of the site to ensure that there are no problems which could potentially lose you customers.

Publishing

Once you are happy, and the site is fully tested it is brought online (on our hosting servers or otherwise) We also submit your site to all the major search engines, and provide advice on how to effectively market your site.

Modification

Once your site is up and running we will continue to monitor traffic (so can you) and provide advice on both keeping the web users attention and increasing the number of visitors to the pages.

We are always on call to make adjustment to your site. If your site includes it, you can also make alterations or additions yourself by logging in to a password protected administration area.
